I opened my eyes for the 5th time and the sun still hasn't set. Around this time I'd be seen sitting in a bench in front of the Corpol lake waiting for the sun to set. The bright cherry red color of the bench has somehow lost its vibrancy. Worn but still pretty. I love how distress can make something look homey. More comfortable than a new furniture. Added to it is my constant scratching of the paint. It makes me feel like I've somehow made a mark on this bench.
The waters are still today. The ducks are nowhere to be seen. People around the park are either strolling, running or just doing their own thing. Minding their own business. I was a little disappointed because the reason I go to the park everyday is to meet new people. Or atleast a chance to be talked to by someone. Anyone. I smile at some when he or she meets my gaze.
